At El Recreo Spanish, we offer joyful and immersive Spanish classes for babies, toddlers, and children aged 0–12 in Edinburgh and the Lothians. Through songs, stories, games, and culture, we spark a love for language and help families grow up bilingual with purpose.

Meet Daniela, a Chilean educator, researcher and proud mother raising her son bilingual in Scotland. With a Master’s degree in Research and Educational Change from the University of Barcelona and extensive experience in teaching, school leadership and teacher training, Daniela brings innovation and a strong pedagogical foundation to El Recreo Spanish Edinburgh + Lothians.
She believes that language learning goes beyond vocabulary, it’s about building cultural identity, fostering empathy and developing life skills in a globalised world. Through fun, creative and immersive Spanish classes, Daniela invites families in Edinburgh, Linlithgow, Livingston and surrounding areas to be part of a vibrant community where Spanish language and culture come alive.
