Meet Milena and Andrea. Milena, born in Colombia, is the director and co-founder of El Recreo Spanish. Together with Andrea, who was born and raised in Santa Cruz, Bolivia and has been living in London for over 15 years, they lead El Recreo Spanish Eltham with passion and purpose.
Andrea is a dedicated Spanish teacher who loves working with children. She creates a fun, safe, and stimulating environment where learning becomes an adventure. Her classes are designed for young learners to acquire Spanish naturally through games, songs, stories, and creative activities, helping them build confidence in speaking, listening, and understanding the language at their own pace.
Together, Milena and Andrea share a deep commitment to raising bilingual children and bringing the richness of Spanish language and culture to families in the community.
We firmly believe that language learning is about more than just words it is about embracing cultures, building meaningful connections, and nurturing a global mindset.
