SPANISH CLASSES FOR CHILDREN
3 - 11 YRS
Our Spanish classes designed for our preschoolers and primary school-aged learners, beginners and intermediate/advanced are:

- Age-appropriate, classes are designed specifically for preschoolers and primary school children, tailored to their developmental stages, ensuring they stay motivated and interested.

- Flexible learning paths, recognising that every child learns differently, our program offers flexible learning paths with up 8 classes available for this group age.

BEGINNERS
RECREITOS BEGINNERS
Our program for beginners is segmented into age-specific groups to cater to the unique developmental and learning needs of each child
Across locations you will find classes for children 3-7 yrs and 7-11 yrs, but there might be more groups in specific locations.
Recreitos - beginners ages 3 - 7 yrs: Dive into a world of Spanish vocabulary with our weekly topics as our Recreitos discover the Spanish language and culture through songs, dance, crafts and playful activities. Tailored to our older Recreitos learners start to form basic sentences, understand simple stories, and express their thoughts in Spanish, all within a fun and supportive environment that celebrates every milestone.
Recreitos - beginners ages 7 - 11 yrs: Continue the learning journey as our older Recreitos are ready to deepen their exploration of the Spanish language. Through engaging projects, conversations, and cultural explorations, they develop their speaking, reading, and writing skills. This group focuses on practical communication, enabling learners to confidently use Spanish in diverse settings, from casual conversations to academic contexts.
CREATIVE - beginners ages 4-7 yrs:
Dive into a world where creativity and language blend in our creative Spanish program, designed exclusively for curious minds aged 4 yrs already in Reception to 7 years. Children discover Spanish sounds, words, and rhythms in joyful and engaging activities building the foundations for reading and writing.
INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED
RECREITOS INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED
Our program for children with Spanish background or exposure to the language is segmented into age-specific groups and language abilities to cater to the unique developmental and learning needs of each child. What is intermediate/ advanced level? Children understand Spanish they might speak but not necessary, classes are taught in Spanish only meaning there is a full immersion.
Across locations you will find classes for Recreitos Intermediate/Advanced 3-7 yrs and Recreitos Intermediate/advanced 7-11 yrs, but there might be more groups in specific locations.

ARTE & LECTO
Dive into a world where creativity and language blend in our creative Spanish program, designed exclusively for curious minds aged 4 yrs already in Reception to 7 years. Children discover Spanish sounds, words, and rhythms in joyful and engaging activities building the foundations for reading and writing.
PRE LECTO & SUPER
Transition class for children 7 - 8 yrs between arte & lecto where children start building up their reading and writing skills before they go to Lectoescritura, children learn basic grammar challenges. Available in some locations.
PRE LECTO & SUPER AND LECTOESCRITURA
Specially designed for children aged 9-11 years who are ready to dive deeper into the Spanish language. This intermediate-level program is crafted to enrich and expand the reading and writing abilities of young Spanish learners, guiding them through the fascinating world of words, stories, and expressions. Available in some locations.

We love El Recreo. We like spending time at the weekend here and it has been a very good reinforcement for our 2 boys to speak Spanish, play and make more friends since they are very little. We have been with El Recreo for 5 years and continue to enjoy Saturdays here. Our kids learn language and culture and the teachers are lovely.
